On the Winx reboot leaks
Long post, leaks analisis, spoilers if you don't want to see it under Read More. Seeing the Rainbow artist names attached onto these pictures and the development renders, these are 100% real. On top of that, It's not the first time Rainbow got something leaked, received feedback and acted accordingly. Remember the negative feedback on the 2023 easter eggs designs? Poof, gone. Remember the positive feedback on the 2023 leaked group design? Suddenly, Rainbow started using that Bloom at press events.
I genuinely believe that Rainbow "leaks" stuff now on purpose to receive feedback without actually needing to announce anything final to broadcasters.
Tumblr media
Let's see.
Tumblr media
From the Lorem Ipsum we can tell this isn't remotely final, but a group test. We're back to Bloom with a ponytail (they really like it!) and Tecna does have robotic limbs. Each girl's design seems to reflect their elements:
Stella has stars, the sun, wings at her feet and light, even light rays on her wings and top
Bloom seems to have scales of some sort and patterns on her leggings. Maybe to indicate that she's an artist? Or meant to represent the breath of life?
Musa, the smallest, got some musical sheet onto her. Overall not the most musical inspired design. Everybody kinda looks like an ice skating ballerina.
Flora got flowers. Really most obvious one there.
Aisha's hair is a bit too much, I prefer her civilian braids more. I like how her dress has wavy patterns of sorts and sparkles that look like shining waters on her shorts and skirt. They can do better on her though. Wings look like they got splashes of water. It's still cool that Rainbow is experimenting more with black textured hair than any american animation studio, so kudos for that.
Tecna looks like she's wearing a circuit but looks the most generic. Probably because she has too much going on with a full bodysuit with patterns. I don't like the accessory on her head.
Proof that these are real: these obvious dev documents
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They even got an alt with their "civilian" hairstyles, but it says "transform". Which means no hairstyle or design is final so far.
It seems Musa and Tecna share skintones, Bloom has her own, Stella and Flora share it too, Aisha has her own and is the darkest. I think we can make Stella and Flora a little darker each in varying degrees, to show that Stella is tanned and Flora is a dark skinned latina.
There is a lot of focus on the designs we saw leaked that got positive reception. It's likely they will be finalized, since they went as far as making a test animation with that Bloom design.
Tumblr media
A lot going on here in this room already giving Bloom so much personality. Her own shelf with the name with a heart-shaped B. A guitar? A sketchbook and school supplies. Bloom is back to drawing again, we last saw that in World of Winx but in the main series it was always just left implied by her earth room's belongings and her huge drawing desk, yet it was never expanded upon. Hopefully her being an artist can finally shine through her personality.
Most importantly, she's back to being silly, goofy and expressive again. Of course, the reboot is back to square one with the story and characterizations. I hope more quirks that were not explored in the main series get more attention in the reboot (again, like Bloom being an artist!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Trix now got a symbol and individual faces while sharing the same body. Icy's design is nearly identical to the original, I actually like the small cuts showing skin on her chest, so she doesn't feel too covered up. Midriffs are back and so is 2000s fashion.
Important detail, Icy is taller than Bloom. Is it her heels? Regardless, we got some more body diversity.
Some more notes:
Artist is credited as Pasqualino Masciulli, a real 3d artist at Rainbow
Date is 17 April 2024, for some reason they're using the wrong format. This is VERY recent. They're NOWHERE near done!
It says episode 106. It must be a reference to the reboot itself, Season 1, episode 6, as the old series episodes in total were 208. This means the series has at least finished writing and storyboarding, but they haven't finished with the character designs yet!
Further proof that fucking nothing is done yet, the leaker said this. From what I just noted above, I believe it. They're not remotely done.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This "Damien" motherfucker looks ai generated, doesn't fit the style in the slightest with his weirdly realistic face and the belts details and clothing folds are all over the place. Shame to whoever did this.
Who even is this guy? Is he the new character Iginio was warning us about? He doesn't look bad but they can do even better. Definitely a fascinating choice for the sexy bad boy, because I know that's who he's gonna be.
Don't fucking use AI for your art, though. It looks like shit.
Interesting, no specialists in the leaks. No Roxy or Terra either though.
Tumblr media
This outfit is a mix of 2 outfits from season 2. Which means they're studying their own old designs. The same goes for another Bloom render and concept.
Tumblr media
Fascinating detail: they're using 2000s dress up pixel dolls as reference. Learn from the masters! This dress doesn't resemble anything and doesn't seem to be a civilian dress but a transformation one, with all the glitters and stars around.
Tumblr media
Last but not least, absolutely atrocious 2000s fashion is back (this is a good thing). We can hope a little but it's surprising how in 5 years they haven't done shit yet. That's some development hell. Either Iginio is really passionate about making this the second coming of Christ or they don't know what the fuck they're doing.

I was initially thinking of cosplaying Izutsumi, but then I read the rest of the manga and decided to cosplay The Other Cat.
Since the Winged Lion is a straight up animal, I'm going to have to make the cosplay a gijinka, the way people do with Pokemon cosplays. The general idea I'm going for is "biblically accurate Cats the musical"; essentially, I want it to read as a cat, but with texture and design elements that elevate it beyond just regular cat. It'll be a gold velvet bodysuit (to give the appearance of fur), faux fur wrist cuffs and ankle cuffs (knitted with faux fur yarn), faux fur lion ears and tail, 3D printed demon horns, a long blonde wavy wig to resemble the mane, and giant foam triple angel wings (the same ones I use for Vash). I'm going to add rhinestones on the chest, as well as a matching jeweled choker.

💕 Self-love time! Talk about which ones of YOUR creations (edits, artworks, fanfics) you like the most, then send to other creators to do the same 💕
Thank you so much @rosapexa! 🥰❤️ I'm super proud of this photoset I did for Halloween last year, Poison Ivy and The Penguin! It's the biggest non-work, non-writing project I've completed. It required a lot of work modding-wise, and I picked up some new skills along the way, and in the end it was worth all the effort!
Tumblr media
Mitch 🤝 me, unable to keep our eyes off of Valerie
Early on in Corpo Val's life, someone commented that she looked like Poison Ivy, and I couldn't stop thinking about that. I'd wanted to do a couple's theme the previous Halloween but didn't have the time, so I started working on this in late summer to get it done. I started by looking at Poison Ivy's costumes, both from movies and comics, and matching things in-game that could serve my purpose. I ended up with this: Mel's (Panam's) bodysuit, arm-length gloves, and Evelyn's boots.
Tumblr media
Val's first appearance as Poison Ivy
I wanted to add some texture to the bodysuit, and nothing in game matched what I imagined, so the first thing I learned was adding a new texture to use as a pattern. It turned out better than I hoped! Next were the boots which required a refit since Evelyn has skinny legs compared to vanilla fem. I knew that ArchiveXL allowed the hiding of different parts of the body mesh, so between extensive refitting and learning something new, I chose ArchiveXL. (And I'm so glad I did!) Then it was a matter of recoloring them and the sleeves to coordinate with the bodysuit.
For Mitch, I wasn't entirely sure what to do since I'm not as familiar with DC. I thought The Penguin could be a good match given his hair and nose, but it wasn't until I found this art from a comic cover that I knew I made the right decision. I already had a suit I'd been working on for the Corpo AU, so it was just a matter of swapping out the shirt for the three piece suit and recoloring it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Penguin from Wikipedia; Mitch in a suit 🥵 by me
His accessories were the third (and fourth) things I learned in the process. I replaced the cowboy hat with a free 3D mesh top hat; created the normal map and the mlmask for the textures from scratch (just don't ask me how to do the normal map again); and colored it match the suit and pocket square. The umbrella was a half-successful experiment in which I added a new prop to the game. I struggled with the textures, and eventually called it "good enough", which is why you don't see it too much. 😅
And the final product! I have never used so many props in my life, and it gave me a greater appreciation for everyone who does have that patience. I used Wingdeer's roses to make a crown for her to wear, then went ham decorating, and decorated some more.
Tumblr media
I still can't believe I did all this! I'm so happy with how everything turned out. 🥰

Paris Fashion Week continues to captivate audiences with standout presentations from industry visionaries like Jonathan Anderson at Loewe and Daniel Roseberry at Schiaparelli. Their latest collections breathe new life into classic forms while pushing the boundaries of contemporary aesthetics. At Loewe, Jonathan Anderson's inventive spirit was heralded by a striking bronze bird sculpture by Tracey Emin, placing the audience at a figurative bird’s eye view of creativity. Anderson characterized his recent works as "exercises in reduction," hinting at a deeper exploration into the essence of fashion. He introduced archetypes that invite viewers to engage with garments differently—“How do you wear that? How do you sit on it?” These provocative questions set the tone for his Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Central to this collection was a remarkable hoop skirt fabricated from lightweight floral georgette, reminiscent of the prepared crinoline sets of the past. The delicate fabric was ingeniously weighted with fine chain, granting it a distinct movement that sets it apart from typical skirt designs. This innovative approach ensured that the skirt retained an almost ethereal quality, gracefully undulating with its wearer. In addition to the standout skirts, Anderson's presentation featured a series of long-sleeved sequined minidresses created through a fascinating process of 3D knitting. This technique allowed for sequins to be arranged flat, achieving a texture that echoed the natural world, reminiscent of crushed shells. If his London show evoked the youthful spirit of Twiggy, the Paris showcase radiated the classic allure of Edie Sedgwick, channeling a distinct 1960s vibe. Anderson’s playful nod to modern culture was evident in his “tourist art” souvenir t-shirts. In a blend of high and low cultures, he emblazoned shirts with the names of seminal composers like Mozart and Chopin, presented on feathers—a nostalgic touch to couture techniques. He noted that such garments provide an experiential link; much like a museum or concert, you feel the impulse to carry part of the moment home with you. A unique and symbolic element of the show was the ring attached to guests' invitations, inscribed with "Loewe 1846," symbolizing commitment. This connects seamlessly to Anderson's recent focus on refinement rather than continual evolution. He noted, “As a designer, you are always looking to the future, and it sometimes takes a long time for the audience to catch up.” A marked improvement was his new navy suit—a tailored ensemble that combined a fitted jacket with voluminous trousers, indicating a noteworthy leap in Loewe’s craftsmanship. Meanwhile, Daniel Roseberry at Schiaparelli struck a more exuberant chord, with an enticing call for “loud luxury.” Known for his work in haute couture, Roseberry’s ambition was to demonstrate that luxury can indeed be commercially viable beyond the red carpet. His inspiring collection, aptly named “Future Vintage,” is designed to be timeless, intended for future generations. Roseberry's vision for wearable simplicity was manifested in unconstructed tailoring, featuring familiar pieces like a classic white button-down shirt and a tank top, albeit reinterpreted as hourglass bodysuits. His perception was that fashion should be as effortless as pulling items from a suitcase. He revived the grandeur traditionally associated with haute couture through pieces like a flamboyant jacket crafted from eelskin and oversized batwing sleeves—an amusing take on modern athletic wear. The collection reached its crescendo with a stunning ensemble: a floor-sweeping tuxedo coat gracefully paired with Schiaparelli's foot-shaped slip-ons. Such explorations in surrealism echo the brand’s heritage while appealing to the current fashion zeitgeist. Both Anderson and Roseberry are not merely showcasing clothes; they are harnessing fashion's historical dialogue with culture. Their collections resonate with contemporary audiences, reflecting deep narratives while preserving the artistry of couture.
As the Paris Fashion Week unfolds, it is evident that innovation is at the forefront. Not only do designers like Anderson and Roseberry challenge traditional norms, but they weave intricate stories that keep the essence of fashion vibrant and relevant. It is an era where every garment has the potential to evoke a memory or create a new experience.

Bridging the Gap: Exporting Captain Nova's Outfit from Marvelous Designer to ZBrush
After crafting Captain Nova's bodysuit, gloves, and head cover in Marvelous Designer, the next step involved bringing them into ZBrush for sculpting and detail refinement. However, exporting these garments from Marvelous Designer (MD) to ZBrush (ZBrush) presented a challenge. Here's how I tackled this process, drawing from various online resources and experimenting with different workflows.
The Exporting Dilemma
MD excels in garment creation, but transferring those garments with their detailed folds and textures to ZBrush for sculpting can be tricky. While MD offers FBX export, it doesn't directly translate the simulated folds and details into a ZBrush-friendly format.
Seeking Solutions: A Journey Through Tutorials
To bridge this gap, I embarked on a research expedition through YouTube tutorials and online forums. Here are the gems I found that proved instrumental:
youtube
Tutorial 1: Marvelous Designer to ZBrush Long Talk by Jaakko Saari
youtube
Tutorial 2: ZBrush: Marvelous Designer -Setting up in Zbrush by 3D Mutiny
youtube
Tutorial 3: How to export from Marvelous Designer to Zbrush by Outgang
Experimentation and Workflow:
Through experimentation, I found a workflow that worked well for me:
Rearranging UV's: Firstly, I arranged the UV's correctly so it took most of the space on the texture map in MD.
Quadrangulate Mesh: Before exporting I converted the fabric mesh to quads as it will make to retopo easy.
Export Settings: I choose Single object, Unweld and Thin as my settings which will be ideal for Zbrush.
Importing into ZBrush: I imported the FBX files into ZBrush.
Lessons Learned:
Experimentation is Key: There's no one-size-fits-all approach. Experiment with different techniques and find what works best for your specific needs and the complexity of your garments.
Understanding Retopology: While retopology can be a valuable step, it may not always be necessary, especially for simpler garments.

I’ve done it.
I’ve finally done it.
Tumblr media
I have finally CRACKED the CURSED MASS EFFECT 3D MODEL CODE and have managed to force varying mass effect models through the CSP Modeler. CSPM wasn’t my original goal but after weeks of off and on hair pulling and cursing every duck-tape-and-prayers ass way models are rigged let alone older 3d models and the fact that they do not play nicely with other programs/formats/sideways glances... I’m over the goddamn moon that I did the damn thing.
Highly specific alien references at any angle I wish, GET.

I know very little about Yugioh, and I have a question after seeing some official art you reblogged. The Milennium Puzzle (I think that's what it is? The golden pyramid necklace thingy the main character wears) looks to be made of gold, quite large and thus quite heavy, and worn on a fairly long cord around Yugi's neck.
So my question is, how often do you think that thing fucking takes him out by bouncing around and smacking him right in the damn solar plexus? Like, how bruised are Yugi's ribs any time he has to jog or run somewhere? Hell, if he breaks into a sprint is he at risk of chipping a tooth or getting a black eye from the millennium puzzle bouncing around?
You bring up a good point that MANY a cosplayer found out about the hard way because even when it's made of cardboard, that sucker wants to swing around and can take out an eyeball. I have Several Theories:
The Millennium Puzzle is governed by the same Anime Physics that prevent female characters with Humongous Hungolomghnonoloughongous from knocking themselves out with their own tiddies.
Yugi's hair is Like That (TM) because he's projecting some sort of gravity-warping field that makes his hair do that and the puzzle stay put.
Gold in that universe has the same weight and texture as marshmallows.
Since the Puzzle is actually Yami's Body, Yami is using his poorly-defined magical powers to cling to Yugi's shirt like a baby Koala.
The Puzzle is actually flat and only appears to be 3D by the magic of Animation!
The BDSM Leather Bodysuit Yugi Wears is actually Legit Body Armor to protect him from being shanked by his Magical Bling.
Like how the Millenium Ring can move it's tines to stab people or skitter around like terrible cursed artifact tarantula, the Puzzle can actually reassemble it's pieces at will and whenever it slaps into Yugi, it just loosens the magical field that holds it together and allows the pieces to harmlessly "slosh" against him before recombining. It's not shown in the anime because they had a budget of like, $4.32 AUS and a can of sprite.

Honestly I don't mind most of the suits(except Bunnyx that just looks wrong) so much as the poses. Sure Ladybug is in a skin tight suit but it's taken from Spiderman who is also in a skintight suit and honestly I think Lady Noir is better because it looks less like real leather. But there is just no need for the focus on there bodies in a kids show, they are animated so age is flexible(adult Alix looks younger then Mari to me) but this is a kids show about kids.
Okay, I want to make this clear because on a surface level, I do not have a problem with skin-tight bodysuits as a design choice. The problem is that Ladybug’s design is extremely simple for someone who is supposed to be a fashion designer. It made sense in “Origins” because she wasn’t expecting the transformation, but Plagg confirms in “Frightningale” that the holder transforms into what they want, and I simply do not believe that what Marinette continues to want is... that. The hairpieces and mask are fine, but otherwise, it’s a red onesie with black spots all over with no exciting variation anywhere, plus a black neck. It draws the eyes all over and is jarring when she goes from fully-clothed to leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination when it doesn’t give anything for the eyes to focus on, making the whole thing awkward.
Chat Noir has a bodysuit too, but he has padding and extra features like his belt and the cuffs around his wrists and ankles. The boys get padding and such no matter how simplistic their colors/designs are while the girls simply do not get the same treatment. That’s what I take issue with, especially because padding doesn’t add any further strain to the animation, unlike something like Chat Noir’s tail (which isn’t what I’m asking for; I don’t need Ladybug to have a cape).
As for the Spider-man comment, it isn’t the same for multiple reasons. For one, Spider-man has layers to his design. If you look at the official 3D renders of Spider-man, you can see that the blue and red have very different textures to them, varying up his bodysuit, and it also isn’t all the same thing repeated for the whole bodysuit.
Here’s an image of Spider-man’s design next to Ladybug’s:
Tumblr media
Look at Spider-man. Now, look at Ladybug. What you’ll probably notice immediately is that Spider-man’s bodysuit feels a lot less “naked” compared to Ladybug’s (and the “naked” feeling is what makes shots feel worse than they might’ve been otherwise if her bodysuit had been better designed), and the reason is that Spider-man’s draws your eyes to the red parts on his design, not the blue. It almost looks like he’s wearing a jacket and pants (with the blue intentionally being the “pants,” which is important), though made in such a way that it still looks like a bodysuit.
Ladybug’s does not do the same thing. It’s boring, uninspired, and not indicative of who she is as a character. I’ve seen people claim it’s a metaphor for her having room to grow but that doesn’t excuse the issue of her being a fashion designer and the fact that it’s already been established that holders are supposed to get what they want; even if the metaphor of her having room to grow” was the intent, she’s been this way for at least three seasons now.
Alright. Next, let’s take a chapter from Spider-man’s web-covered book and project his design onto Ladybug’s:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*snaps fingers sassily* I take cash or credit.
lol no, but seriously, see the difference? Ladybug’s colors are more evenly distributed and she no longer has such a “naked” look to her design. The red doesn’t overwhelm the design and it’s still distinctly ladybug-themed without seeming like it was conjured up hastily during someone’s friggin’ lunch break.
Speaking of break, it also breaks up the repetitive design and gives more for the eyes to take in due to the more complex appearance, the red popping and being inviting rather than just being... there.
I’m not saying that Ladybug needs to have padding (though I’d prefer it if at least some of the girls did while some of the guys got bodysuits with no padding at all for the sake of balance). All I’m saying is that, at the very least, Marinette deserves a look that’s more creative than her superhero name.

hi! i saw u were going to make a top/bodysuit version of ur sunda swimsuit and i was wondering if u knew any tutorials on how to do that and if its difficult? i swear ive been wanting to create a top version of one outfit i like but i can't find any tutorials TT thank u in advance!
Hi! :) I wrote a bit so I put everything under the cut. I just went over very general information, assuming you already know some basics: feel free to ask more precise questions or reach out if you get stuck in the process 😊
Strangely enough I thought there would be tutorials on the topic but I couldn’t find anything helpful either… personally I didn’t use any because I had a hunch of what needed to be done.
The level of difficulty will change depending on the item… in my case it’s going to be pretty easy because the textures are already fine the way they are, and I just have to turn the mesh to top only. Depending on the item you may need to not only edit the 3D mesh to separate the top from the bottom but also edit the uv map to make sure that textures don’t overlap. If you want to create a bodysuit you will have to make sure that the uv maps of the top and bottom come together.
What I have personally gathered from experience is that separating a top is easier than separating a bottom (if you put work into it and don’t just cut a dress and close the gaps). The major problem there lies with uv_0 maps and shadows, but let’s not delve into that for now lol
Here are some steps/suggestions I feel might be particularly useful for your purpose:
Extract the mesh you want to work with, separate the top part
You can use the uv texture template to figure out if the uv_0 is placed correctly
When you make your package fix the CAS Sort Layer accordingly
Good luck 🍀 ☺️

A teen to play with on High School Years
Here is a teen trans girl I created to play with when High School Years come out! Her name is Evana Bowani and as you might see, she has a feminine-looking chest thanks to hormones, but she did not gender reassignment surgery (SRS) yet so, she can’t make other sims pregnant or get pregnant (hormones tend to make trans people sterile) but she can pee standing up*. She’s cheerful & likes music.
*At transgender people on Simblr: If I said something wrong or quite offensive, tell me, please. I have a bunch of trans friends but I’m no expert yet.
As usual, you can find her in the gallery (you must click on the “include custom content” box) with my ID LolaahSims, or download the tray files HERE.
⚠️Very important, I used this mod to make her shorter than YA automatically ⚠️

Once I had my base mesh for Captain Nova from ZBrush, the next step was to create the intricate body suit. Marvelous Designer, a specialized software for cloth simulation, was the perfect tool for this task.
Importing the Base Mesh
I started by importing the ZBrush base mesh into Marvelous Designer. This provided the foundation for the body suit and then set it up as an avatar in marvelous designer. The next thing I did was to adjust the measurements and simulation points on the avatar.
Creating the Body Suit Pattern
Next, I created the pattern for the body suit. This involved drawing the basic shapes of the suit pieces, such as the torso, arms, and legs. I ensured these shapes were proportionate to the base mesh and aligned correctly. I followed multiple tutorials to create the suit, some of them were:-

Adding Fabric Properties
Marvelous Designer allows you to assign various properties to your fabric, including weight, thickness, and drape. I experimented with different fabric properties to achieve the desired look and feel for Captain Nova's body suit.
Simulating the Fabric
After creating the pattern and setting the fabric properties, I simulated the fabric using Marvelous Designer's powerful simulation engine. This allowed the fabric to drape realistically over the base mesh, creating natural folds and creases.
Fine-Tuning and Adjustments
The simulation process often requires adjustments. I used Marvelous Designer's tools to tweak the fabric's behavior, refine the fit, and add details like seams, zippers, and other elements.
Exporting for Further Editing
Once I was satisfied with the simulated body suit, I exported it as an FBX file. This file format can be easily imported into other 3D software for further editing, texturing, and rigging.
Conclusion
Marvelous Designer proved to be an invaluable tool for creating Captain Nova's body suit. By leveraging the base mesh from ZBrush and carefully crafting the pattern and fabric properties, I was able to achieve a realistic and visually appealing result. The simulation capabilities of Marvelous Designer ensured that the body suit draped naturally over the character's body.
